The main god of Japanese mythology and the imperial ancestor god.
The three pillars `Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, and Susanoo' created by Izanagi no Mikoto, the last god of the seven generations of gods, are called Mikiko as the most precious gods, and Amaterasu is the sun that governs all gods. He ruled Takamagahara in the heavenly world as a god. He was also considered an all-powerful god, having various deities such as agriculture and weaving. It is said that the grandson of Amaterasu's grandson, Ninigi no Mikoto, became the first emperor, Emperor Jimmu.

It depicts a divine figure with a halo behind it and holding a Yata mirror. The Yata Mirror is one of the three sacred treasures, and is said to have been offered to the people when they were confined in Amanoiwato. The halo is made of K10 and the Yata mirror is made of copper.
