在中國她被稱為妲己和褒姑，在日本被稱為玉藻，在朝鮮半島和越南被稱為九尾狐，在印度被稱為華陽夫人。九尾狐的反應派形雖然很強烈，但是它本是與鳳凰、麒麟並列的代表吉祥的神獸。
