For this collaboration, DEOPUZ invited Tapz, a creator whose artistic journey spans over a decade and whose life experience is etched into every line he draws. Tapz’s signature technique — a single-needle fine-line approach — yields ink that is thin, clean, and meant to age with beauty and character.
Inspired by the eagle as a symbol of freedom and liberation drawn from Native American imagery, he translated these themes into a visual language of geometry and black-and-grey realism. Each line feels intentional, every contour reflects the flight of the eagle — majestic, powerful, and untethered. This artwork naturally becomes the soul of the limited-edition tote bag, a wearable artifact imbued with movement and narrative.
The design itself was conceived not merely as a graphic, but as a bridge between two worlds — drawing on Tapz’s nomadic perspective (“the world is my studio”) and DEOPUZ’s devotion to meticulously crafted silver pieces.
