"The Hare Of Inaba" that appears in Japanese mythology is a white rabbit god called Hakutoshin.
The white rabbit god deceives the crocodile to get angry and peel off all his hair. Okuninushi no Kami, who passed by there, taught the rabbit, "It's good to wash your body with river water and wrap your body with the ear of a gama," and if you do so, your body will be restored. It is said that the white rabbit god who became energetic predicted that Okuninushi would be united with Princess Yakami. From this story, the white rabbit god is enshrined as a god who cures wounds and diseases, and the god of marriage.
A gourd with water and a white rabbit god with a bag of medicinal herbs are cute pendants sitting on the ears of the gama.
