The supreme deity and ancestral goddess of the Japanese imperial line. The three deities - Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, and Susanoo - born from the final deity of the Seven Generations of the Age of the Gods, Izanagi, are called the Three Noble Children, with Amaterasu reigning over the high heavens of Takama-ga-hara as the all-encompassing sun goddess.

Amaterasu also holds diverse divine roles, such as in agriculture and weaving, being considered an omnipotent deity. Amaterasu's great-grandson was the first Emperor, Emperor Jimmu, according to legend.

This piece depicts the awe-inspiring figure of Amaterasu, with a halo behind her and holding the Yata no Kagami (Eight-Handed Mirror), one of the Three Sacred Treasures. The mirror is said to have been offered when Amaterasu withdrew into the Heavenly Rock Cave. The halo is made of 10-karat gold, and the mirror is crafted in copper.

Our jewelry polishing cloth is gentle on both precious metals and gemstones. However, if your jewelry features set gemstones, please handle it with extra care and use only light pressure when polishing.

To restore the shine of jewelry that has become slightly dull, simply wipe it gently with our specially designed jewelry polishing cloth.

For pieces that have lost their luster more noticeably, wash them gently in lukewarm water with a mild body wash or gentle soap. Pat dry carefully with a soft towel, then use our jewelry polishing cloth to bring back their brilliant shine with a delicate finishing polish.

Warning: Do not use silver dip or any chemical jewelry cleaning solutions, as they may damage the finish, oxidized details, protective coatings, or certain gemstones.
