The Seven Deadly Sins "PRIDE"
For each of the seven deadly sins, there exists a corresponding demon that has been used as the motif. Additionally, a cross has been embedded into the part that symbolizes that particular sin.
The demon representing the sin of "Pride" is the fallen angel "Lucifer".
Lucifer means "the morning star". Lucifer, originally a great angel, sinned by defying God, believing himself to be superior, and was thus cast down to the earth. This embodies the essence of the sin of pride.
Lucifer is depicted holding aloft the scepter of the morning star atop the cross that represents God. However, when flipped over, we see his twisted demonic horns and bat-like wings, symbolizing his fallen state. The cross itself is also shrouded in a soft fabric on the front, but on the reverse side, it is being constricted and collapsing under the coils of a snake.
